Snip-its, Snapshots and Stories

Since opening in August 2011 a number of shoppers who frequent our store have returned with their camera or cellphone which contains photos of a  past purchase. They not only share photos, they also share their stories. Sometimes they talk about a decorating project , sometimes they share a re-purpose project, while other times they want to show us that their purchase was the perfect item.

Of course, we love this!

Most items in our store were loved by someone when they were first purchased decades ago. Nothing makes us happier than knowing that a formerly  homeless antique is loved anew.

Sometimes antiques are a good investment and sometimes they’re a good value,  but re-used and re-purposed items are always good for our small blue planet!

Yesterday, after chatting with a customer and perusing her photos I decided that these snip-its  and stories of inspiration and creativity needed to be shared and passed along.
